Beth Barber instigates Reefer Madness

Thanks to the folks at Medicann I read an article they linked to via Twitter to Beth Barber's article called "So-called patients are hijacking medical marijuana"

Beth uses re-enforcement from a columnist from Times and then adds, "The unscrupulous have hijacked the Compassionate Use Act of 1996, California’s medical marijuana law.", Wow really?, I know a lot of people that have an "illness" that have prescriptions, but I wouldnt call them "Unscrupulous". Who is Beth to determine how serious of an illness is for it not to be treated by Medical Marijuana?

Ok I can understand so I'll read more of her article I thought to myself. She's basically exploiting Reefer Madness all over again by collecting false negatives on the internet and then adding her own thoughts on top of it, how funny is that?!. The same situation happened in San Francisco and northern California that is happening in San Diego, but guess what that was 10 years ago people there are just now catching up! Police raids were all over nothing, no guns found etc.., in fact what happened is more citizens/people stopped supporting the black market and became patients to support local co-ops selling marijuana. Beth should write something resourceful like about how rangers and Federal task forces are trying to stop "illegal grows" in our state parks and surrounding areas.

There is a serious problem in San Diego and its not the pot clubs and patients. Its the media creating all the negative hype because they dont have a story and Beth needs to keep her job by creating hype and traffic to their site.

Once I thought of San Diego as a city of nature, but now i think of it as a city of horror for medical marijuana patients. As long as you are legal and not doing anything wrong then all is good.

Mainstream ready for Marijuana?!

Check out this article on sfgate around the NORML conference in San Francisco. I'm rather surprised at how large the turn out is at a conference of this nature. As my first conference ever in this industry, I feel more comfortable now about what I learned from the professionals.

Working on a step by step guide to help you grow your own affordably

I've been working on an informative step by step guide (probably a post) that will get you started growing cannabis with under 1,000.00 USD. That may sound like a lot and it will depend on your available space for grow too which can lower the cost even more.

I'm legal patient with super skills in web technology in California and want to help others that do not want to spend money on cannabis when you can easily afford to grow your own. I have been going to a Cannabis Dispensary for 4.5 years and only realized 8 months ago how much money I can save.

A book that got me started on the right track is called:

The Cannabis Grow Bible

How to Remove the Threat of Arrest

An interesting PDF is posted on MPP's site. Its a must read for any medical marijuana patient in any state. I'm in California and feel overwhelmed yet protected unlike many others living in other states.

Medical marijuana helps kid with autism.

This is a good read and when you read more stories like these it really makes you wonder why is the plant so illegal. Is it huge medical agencies or is the government being slow on building a structure to regulate marijuana? Well I hope the feds do something quick so a lot of the disabled people can get safe access to marijuana!

Cannabis relieves Toothache pain?

I've found taking the leafy part of marijuana bud and placing some next to my toothache relieves the pain after about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I swallowed what I had left of the herb and felt little pain thereafter, cool!
